Online Internship Program 2023.
The Online Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain non-profit experience, boost your career profile, build a professional network and expand your skill set. We offer unpaid online internships for undergraduate and graduate students designed to expose students to the world of international humanitarian aid and non-profit management.
Interns are encouraged to commit to a three-month program and will be assigned assignments based on their interests and the organization’s needs.
As an intern at Heart of an Ace, you will be welcomed into a tight community of veterans, active duty members, civil servants, and intelligence professionals. You will have an exclusive opportunity to receive mentorship from members of our team and are invited to use their resources/networks to support your professional growth.
Positions Available.

As a member of the Media Team, you will work closely with the Communications Team.
Responsibilities: Create and post educational social media graphics and videos for Afghanistan and Ukraine operations across all of our media platforms. This position requires interns to have an interest in studying and learning about the humanitarian concerns in Afghanistan and Ukraine.

As a member of the Communications Team, you will work with both Communications Team and Social Media Team. You will be responsible for developing stories and updates to share across the organization, newsletter subscribers, partners, and donors. You will assist with writing, editing, and publishing newsletters and blogs.

As a research intern, you will work closely with the organization’s leadership team bringing awareness to developments in Afghanistan and Ukraine. Your research has the opportunity to drive our organization’s strategic impact and future outlook.

As part of the fundraising team, you will assist with writing grants and proposals to enable our operations.
